Ruffin, NC -- A Rockingham county women is in jail charged with setting the same house on fire three times.
Detectives charged 42-year-old Barbara Cravener, of Eden, with three counts of second degree arson. That's after an investigation by the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office revealed that Cravener burned a house located on Lick Fork Creek Rd. in Ruffin on three separate occasions in late 2012.
Cravener was living at the house when the crimes occured, according to investigators with the Rockingham County Fire Marshal's Office.
She was placed in the Rockingham County Jail under a $25,000 bond.
Sheriff Sam Page said there does not appear to be any connection with these fires and the recent church fires that were determined to have been deliberately set in the Stokesdale and Oak Ridge areas.
Cravener is not considered to be a suspect in the church arson investigations.
