Man Robbed Overnight Near GSO Gas Station

Greensboro, NC -- Police are looking for a suspect in a Saturday morning robbery near a N. Church St. gas station.

Officer responded to the Great Stops on N. Church St. around 2:45 a.m. on a robbery call.

The victim told police he was walking on Ransom Road toward the Kangaroo gas station when the suspect approached him. The man pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim's stomach, according to police.

The suspect then took the victim's money and ran from the scene toward N. Church St.

Police say the suspect was wearing a black New York Yankees jacket and blue jeans.

The victim was not hurt in the robbery.

Police are still investigating.
