Greensboro, NC - Hundreds of children in the Triad received early Christmas gifts in Greensboro Friday night, thanks to the New Jerusalem Cathedral, Brindlewood Executive Suites, and Wrights Care Services.
The three organizations teamed up for Gifts for Good Toy Drive to benefit the North Carolina Dream Center. A celebration, gift giveaway and Christmas Cantata was held at the New Jerusalem Cathedral.
Kids got bikes, skateboards, games and the list goes on and on.
"When a community is being served, that means you have a happy community, and you have a joyful community," said Dr. Kevin Williams, Founder of The Dream Center.
The toy drive was held in memory of Terra Swinney who started the drive in 2008. She died in 2009.
