Pedestrian Killed In Asheboro Auto Accident

Asheboro, NC -- An Asheboro pedestrian was killed in an auto accident Friday, according to the police department. 

Investigators say the accident happened on N. Fayetteville St., just south of Woodcrest Road, around 7:30 p.m.

Initial reports show there was a collision between a 1999 Isuzu, driven by Everett Burns, and a pedestrian, 47-year-old Timothy Albert Morris.

Morris died in the accident.

Police are still investigating this incident.
