Man Wanted In Rowan County For Rape Is Considered Dangerous, Unstable & Has Access To Weapons

Salisbury, NC-- A man is on the run and wanted by sheriff's deputies in Rowan County.

Investigators with the Rowan County Sheriff's Office said they received a report of a forcible rape on Sunday, December 9. After a thorough investigation, the suspect was identified as William Everett Blevins II.

Warrants were obtained on Blevins for Second Degree Forcible Rape and Second Degree Forcible Sex Offense.

Deputies have not taken Blevins into custody. 

According to information from the Sheriff's office Blevins is also wanted by the US Marshalls for federal probation violation, and was just released from Federal Prison, in the summer of 2012.

Blevins is believed to be unstable and dangerous and has access to firearms. His last known location was on Hardy Road in Norwood, NC.
