Greensboro -- North Carolina will open 25 new Charter Schools in 2013. About 60 educators took time to learn what it would take to work in one of those schools, Saturday.
Schools from Meckenburg, Randolph, Granville, Durham, Guilford, Forsyth and Chatham Counties were represented at the job fair at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro.
Eddie Goodall, the Executive Director of the NC Public Charter Schools Association says about 60 prospective teachers came out to learn more.
In a new release sent earlier Goodall said of the job fair:
"Our Charters have much preparation ahead in the coming months and this affords them and teachers a chance to at least meet and exchange information in an informal setting. Many teachers have so many misconceptions about charters that a venue offering face to face dialogue is the best way to remove thiose."
