Stoneville Man & Mebane Woman Win $1 Million Playing Powerball

WFMY --  The largest Powerball drawing on record has created two new North Carolina millionaires.

A Stoneville man won $1 million after he stopped at a gas station in Harrisonburg, VA. Glenn Petke returned to Mr. B's Welcome center on Monday after the Nov. 28 Powerball drawing to claim his prize. Petke matched the first five numbers playing with Easy Pick numbers.

Robin Stanfield from Mebane is the third and final $1 million Powerball winner from NC. Stanfield also matched the first five numbers, beating odds of 1 in 5.1 million according to NC Education Lottery.
