Gamestop In Burlington Robbed Along With Customers

Burlington, NC-- Police in Burlington are looking for a man who reportedly robbed a business and customers who came in during the robbery.

According to the Police report, the man came into the Game Stop on University Drive around 9:16pm on Monday and robbed the store at gunpoint.

Employees said it was near closing the business when the man came in, pointed a handgun at them, demanded money and forced them to go to the back of the building.

While the robbery was in progress, police said two customers came inside and the suspect then forced them to the back of the business as well.

Investigators said the man didn't just rob the Game Stop, he robbed all four victims of personal items.  Before leaving, he made all victims go into a storage room that was in the back of the building. 

Employees told police the man took the following item: 2 Xbox360 gaming systems, 2 PlayStation3 gaming systems, 3 wallets, 3 cellular phones and cash.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video from inside the store. Police are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call them at: 229-3500.
