Greensboro, NC -- What if I told you there was a school in Greensboro where English-speaking kids learned everything from science to math completely in Spanish? Now, what if I told you that school has better test scores than both the state and Guilford County. That's the case for the Spanish Immersion Program at Jones Elementary. The students are taught completely in Spanish from kindergarten to fifth grade.

This school is a magnet program which means folks living outside the Warnersville community must apply in the "lottery" system. There are 96 slots available and only kindergartners and beginning first graders can apply.
