Greensboro. After being below normal in temperatures for a while, the Piedmont is enjoying above normal temperatures this weekend.
High pressure will bring sunshine today and Veterans Day. The sunshine along with a light southwesterly wind will help drive high temperatures to near 70 today and around 72 on Sunday.
The warm spell with be short lived. An approaching cold front will increase clouds on Monday and bring a chance of rain Monday night and Tuesday. Behind the front, colder, drier air will filter into the area by Wednesday and Thursday.
After being around 70 this weekend, temperatures will chill to the mid 50's by Wednesday through Friday.
Our normal high temperature this time of year is 63, and our normal low is 42.
