4th Arrest Made In Winston-Salem Bank Robbery

Winston-Salem, NC -- Police arrested and charged the last of four suspects wanted in a Friday bank robbery at a BB&T in Winston-Salem.

Officers arrested Charles Ronnell Williams, 46, of Los Angeles, early Saturday in relation to the robbery.

Police also arrested Alton T. Sims, 42, Tyrone Thomas Woods, 37, and Darrick Damone Legardy, 42, for their roles in the bank robbery. These three suspects were also from Los Angeles. Police say the men were traveling together at the time of their arrest.

Friday, Winston-Salem police responded to the BB&T Branch on Jonestown Road for the reported bank robbery.

Police say the suspects entered the bank and demanded money from tellers. After taking the money, the suspects ran from the bank.

Initially, the K-9 unit was unable to track down the suspects.

After the arrests, police charged the men with common law robbery.

They've been placed in the Forsyth County Detention Center, but their bond has not been set.

Police say their court dates are pending.
