Greensboro, NC -- Reagan at Dudley High School is the Friday Night Football Game of the Week. And News 2's Lauren Melvin found the perfect spot for Friday Night Bites.

They call it a diner, but Fincastle's on South Elm Street in downtown Greensboro is anything but your typical greasy spoon.

Owner, Jody Morphis, and his team are whipping up burgers that are far from ordinary.

"First, we have our Delta Burger, which is Certified Angus ground chuck, pimiento cheese, apple-smoked bacon, fried green tomato and remoulade sauce," said Morphis.

You can order that with a big basket of fried pickles, a crowd pleaser.

"Then we have our Magnolia Burger, which is Comeback sauce, lettuce, tomato, Certified Angus ground chuck, muenster cheese, apple-smoked bacon, and onion straws on top," said Morphis.

And then summer meets winter with other menu items at Fincastle's.

For a dish to warm you up after a a cold night at a football game, they have soul-warming chicken and andouille sausage gumbo. But you can also find an end-of-summer tomato salad with Yellow Boy tomatoes, Purple Cherokees, organic mixed greens and a balsamic reduction with Champagne vinaigrette.

You have time to grab a bite before or after them game. Kick-off is at 7:30 p.m.
