Northern High Student In Greensboro Holds Bone Marrow Drive For Leukemia Patient

Greensboro, NC -- A high school senior wants to make life a little easier on a local student battling leukemia.

Saturday, Kaitlin Sivret, a student at Northern Guilford High School is sponsoring a bone marrow registry drive in honor of Johnny Van Kemp and others suffering from Leukemia. .

Doctors are treating Kemp for his condition and he's doing better but he and other patients could use your help in their fight.

Both Sivret and Kemp joined us on the Good Morning Show Saturday morning to talk about the event.

The bone marrow registry drive is today from 1PM until 4PM Saturday.

It will be held at First Lutheran Church on West Friendly Avenue.

You can help if you are between the ages of 18 to 60-years old.
