Greensboro, NC -- If you love barbecue, downtown Greensboro is the place to be this weekend.
That's because the East-West Barbecue Fest is heating up Festival park. Pitmasters from Tennessee, Arkansas, Ohio, and of course, North Carolina are in Greensboro chopping up beef, pork, and everything in between.
Organizer Andrew Shoffner said they hope to answer an age old question. "This has never been done. Its never been done. Everyone knows that the debate has been around but no one has brought the sides of the state together to see which barbecue or sauce is the best," Shoffner said.
The festival also offers music from "Signature Soundz", "Snuzz and Sam Frazier", "Wurlitzer Prize", "Emily Stewart & Baby Teeth" and many more. There will also be a giant Euro-bungee, pony rides, camel rides, and gem mining.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students with valid i.d., and children are free.
