How You Can Help The Aurora, CO Theater Shooting Victims

The nation is still trying to process the events of last week's shooting in an Aurora, CO movie theater during the midnight premier of "The Dark Knight Rises."

A question many people are asking is, "How can I help?"

Triad community members that want to assist victims and their families can turn to the following non-profit organizations.

Aurora Mental Health Center: The organization is commited to providing crisis counseling to its community.

The Denver Center For Crime Victims:This 25 year-old Denver based non-profit has English and Spanish counselors ready to answer questions and provide help for people affected by the theater shooting.

The American Red Cross (Colorado Chapters): These local chapters stepped up to provide food, water, and counseling for victims of the theater shooting. You can donate directly to them, or even give blood to your local Red Cross Chapter.

You can also donate directly to indivudal funds for victims' families.
