Salisbury, NC -- Be one of the first 50 people to step inside your local Food Lion this week to win a bag of free groceries.
Food Lion is celebrating the launch of its new brand strategy in 269 stores in North Carolina and South Carolina this week.
The store's "grand re-opening" started Tuesday.
"We are committed to being recognized as a price leader, making our store easier to shop, offering the greatest value in store brands and providing the freshest produce," said Food Lion President Cathy Green Burns.
You can receive your free bag of groceries every day this week until Saturday.
The company also plans to donate $30,000 in store brand food to local charities, $10,000 of which will go to Second Harvest Food Bank in Charlotte; $10,000 to Second Have of Winston-Salem; $5,000 to MANNA Food Bank in Asheville; and $5,000 to Harvest Hope Food Bank in Greenville, SC.
