Q&A with Jackie Fernandez
If you weren't on television news, what would you do for a living?
When I was younger I would've said magazine editor. It was always a dream of mine to work for Seventeen Magazine. I always appreciated the positive message they sent young girls about self acceptance and respect. Now, I could see myself doing something in the tech world. I would love to work for Google or Facebook. I like how they want a staff of people from all different realms of life, and the work environment they've created is just incredible. I mean, who doesn't like free food and paid nap time?
What's your favorite food?
Anything fried and full of sugar!
Where is your favorite place to visit?
Do you have any pets?
I have one pug named Buckey. He makes the funniest noises and has the cutest face. You might not think this about a pug, but he's really fast. When I walk him, people often say, it looks like he's walking me!
