Alamance County, NC -- Eleanor Thompson of Burlington was charged twice with DWI Friday.
Police said she was pulled over in Burlington around 3:30 Friday afternoon and blew a .32. She was stopped around 9 p.m. in Mebane and blew a .30, according to Mebane police.
The magistrate who saw her the first time, Keith Brady, said he released Thompson to her sister, a sober adult who signed to assume custody of her. He said he also took into consideration she is local, has family here, had an injury on her arm EMS treated, and the officer told him Thompson had been cooperative.
Florida Department of Corrections records show Thompson had DUIs in 2004 and 2006 and served time in Florida from 2006 to 2008.
