Q&A with Brian Formica

If you weren't on television news, what would you do for a living?
Teaching seems to run in my family.  From kindergarten to college professors, my family loves chalkboards and classrooms, and I've learned to do the same.

Where did you grow up?
A small town just north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers are the main reason I lose sleep at night.

What are your hobbies?.
There's nothing like a day on the golf course.  It's always been said that practice makes perfect.  While I practice plenty, my game is far from 'decent!'

Brag about your family!
My parents are my inspiration.  My mother is an elementary school teacher, and my father works in sales.  They have stood by each other's side for over 30 years, and still make one another laugh at the dinner table.  My brother is the smartest person I know.  Now a biology professor in Virginia, he has taught me that knowledge is the greatest gift you can give.
