WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Students at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts are taking us back to the 30s and 40s with a special show Thursday night.
The school is hosting UNCSA Jazz Ensemble: Swing Era Extravaganza. The show promises to offer fun for dance and music enthusiasts of all ages. Students from the UNCSA Jazz Ensemble will offer a big brass band sound as members of the UNCSA School of Dance will offer a blast from the past with their swing era moves.
The show is Thursday night at 7:30 at the Gerald Freedman Theatre in Performance Place. The address is 1533 S. Main St. in Winston-Salem. Tickets are $15 for the public and $13 for any student with a valid student ID.
