For the past 28 years, NC A&T has been performing "Black Nativity" for our community.

The Theater Department stopped by The Good Morning Show to give you a sneak peek of their performance. Frankie Day is directing the show, and is also the head of the Theater Department, she told us this is one you've never seen before. She said she's incorporating young children into the show and getting the community involved.

"Black Nativity" was first performed Off-Broadway in 1961 and written by Langston Hughes. It's a high-energy gospel musical about the birth of Jesus Christ and incorporates songs of praise and worship as well as dance.

The show starts this Thursday, December 5th and ends Sunday, December 8th. The show is at the Harrison Auditorium at North Carolina A&T State University. Their address is 1601 East Market St. Greensboro, NC 27411.

Time are as follows:
Thursday & Friday: 8 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 3p.m. & 8p.m.

Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for senior citizens and non A&T students, $5 for kids 12 and under, and A&T students get in free with their Aggie One Card. Call the box office at 334-7749 for more information.
