WFMY - On Tuesday, Americans will stop for a moment to think about the dangers of smoking.
"The Great American Smokeout" is a reminder that smoking cigarettes contributes to lung and throat cancer, chronic bronchitis, emphysema and allergies. But according to Dr. Tami Ike, smoking can also contribute to hearing loss.
Ike joined the Good Morning Show crew on Monday to explain the correlation between smoking and hearing loss, and the symptoms people need to know about.
For more information, you can watch Ike's entire interview or visit the CDC's website to learn more about the effects of tobacco use on the body and ways to quit.
