GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro is celebrating 13 years in the area with the opening of its newly renovated ReStore.
For its birthday, Habitat for Humanity is celebrating with cake, balloons, prizes and a 20-percent storewide markdown (some exclusions apply) at the High Point Road location Saturday.
The ReStore accepts donated, household items and resells them to the public for less than the retail price. Proceeds from sales help pay for new Habitat homes and Habitat communities.
Habitat will have a few featured items at the store this weekend, including new linoleum flooring by the roll, new interior and exterior doors and more.
Saturday's celebration starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. The ReStore is located at 3826 High Point Road in Greensboro.
WFMY News 2's Patrick Wright and Tom Garcia will be out at the ReStore Wednesday morning. Be sure to tune into the Good Morning Show to learn more about this weekend's reopening.
