GREENSBORO, N.C. -- North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is celebrating, what some call, the "Greatest Homecoming on Earth" this weekend.

Aggies of the past, present and future will be in Greensboro celebrating the history of NC A&T and reliving memories. And, the school is planning several events to make the weekend special.

There will be a comedy show, featuring comedian Mike Epps, the school's 25th annual step show, and a homecoming concert hosted by the Student Government Association.

The school will also host its annual Homecoming parade near the campus Saturday morning. The route begins at the corner of N. Murrow Blvd. and Friendly Ave, takes a right onto E. Lindsay St., and ends at Aggie Stadium. The parade begins at 8 a.m.

And, later in the day, the Aggies hit the gridiron to take on Virginia University of Lynchburg at 1 a.m. at Aggie Stadium.

The school recommends that visitors coming onto campus this weekend enter from E. Market St. and park at the Laurel Street deck for $10 a day.

The school has more information on the NC A&T Homecoming page.

WFMY News 2's Patrick Wright will be out on campus Friday morning to preview Homecoming 2013. Be sure to tune into the Good Morning Show to see how the Aggies are preparing.

And, with several events happening at the Greensboro Coliseum Friday and Saturday, Coliseum officials recommend you plan ahead. The Coliseum says visitors should show up an hour early for their event, and carpool if possible. Officials say the Lee Street parking lot on the northeast corner of Lee Street and Coliseum Boulevard will give drivers convenient access to the Coliseum.
