Burlington, NC - It's a sport you've probably played before just for fun: Putt-Putt.

However, the fun has turned into competition this week in Burlington.

The 54th Annual Putt-Putt National Championship is being held Tuesday through Friday at the Putt-Putt Fun Center in Burlington.

Joe Aboid, the Commissioner of the Professional Putters Association, joined the Good Morning Show crew on Monday to talk about the competition and the rules.

Aboid said more than 100 mini-golfers from around the country and even Europe will be competing this week.

Brian Patterson, who runs the Putt-Putt Fun Center in Burlington, also joined the crew on Monday.  He brought a putting green, so the Eric, Lauren and Jackie could practice their skills.

The Putt-Putt Fun Center will be closed to the public during the day this week, for the competition.  However, the public is welcome to watch some of the best mini-golfers in the world compete.

The course will remain open to the public during the evenings.
