Pinnacle Family Fun Day In Burlington's North Park

Burlington, NC - It's all about bringing a community together and there's nothing that draws people close like food! 

A baking competition is just one of the things you can do at the Pinnacle Family Fun Day in Burlington this weekend. 

Brittany Parrish and Clara Foriest talked about the Best In Desserts baking competition with WFMY News 2's Tracey McCain on the Good Morning Show.

We also got a look at some of the classic cars and trucks that will be on display at the event's Ed Miles Car and Bike Show.

The Pinnacle Family Fun Day at North Park 2013 features a Swim Meet, Mayco Bigelow Grill-off Competition, Choir/Praise Team Performances, "Everything for $1 Super Flea market, Roy Blackwell Farmers Market, Best in Baking Competition, Shanks-LeSueur Health Fair, Ed Miles Car & Bike Show, Softball Tournament, Dance & Mime Performances, Sidney Smith Amazing Race, Adult and Children's games & David Maynard Basketball Tournament.

"We expect 5,000 people this year," explained Parrish.  "It's an excellent opportunity for families to experience a great range of activities."

The event is Saturday, September 7, 2013 at North Park in Burlington.  You can find it at 849 Sharpe Road.  It's from 9am to 6pm and it's free to get in.
