Greensboro, NC -- Our state can lay claim to several blockbuster movies: "The Color Purple,""Dirty Dancing" and "Bull Durham," which were taped in part right here in North Carolina. Just recently, the Good Morning Show's Jackie Fernandez took you to Wilmington and behind the scenes of CBS's new thriller "Under the Dome."
But, the Good Morning Show crew couldn't let her have all the fun. Thursday, they went inside the CBS Comedy Buzz Tour bus.
Burton Roberts, former castmate on CBS's "Survivor: Pearl Islands," led the tour in front of the WFMY News 2 station. The crew members made the stop on their way to Knoxville, Tennessee.
After Knoxville, the Buzz Tour will have three stops remaining on its summer-long road tour. Nashville, Charlotte and Atlanta will round it out next week.
The point of the tour is to say "thank you" to fans of the CBS comedy lineup, and this fall will be big.
CBS is launching new series: "The Crazy Ones," "The Millers," "Mom" and "We Are Men." They'll join "The Big Bang Theory," "How I Met Your Mother," "2 Broke Girls" and "Two and a Half Men."
Watch the attached videos for a look inside the traveling comedy bus and how the Good Morning Show left its mark.
