Greensboro, NC -- There will soon be a place in Greensboro where caregivers can get exercise, without worrying about who will take care of their loved ones.
The Adult Center for Enrichment and the City of Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department are teaming up to open the ResFit Club.
ResFit does not open until September, but there is an open house on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 10:00am to 11:00am.
The ResFit Club will provide caregivers of frail and impaired adults with structured exercise and fitness opportunities.
While the caregivers are taking part in this program, their loved ones will be attending a respite program at the same time and location.
The new ResFit program is located at the Sportsplex at 2400 16th Street, Greensboro, NC.
The program is funded by a grant that the Area Agency on Aging received.
When ResFit begins in September, it will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm during the school year.
