Greensboro, NC -- If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend, while supporting a great cause, the Summertime Brews Festival is the place to be.
It's the ninth year for the Summertime Brews Festival at the Greensboro Coliseum.
Dave Aiken, with Rock 92, joined the Good Morning Show crew on Friday to tell us about another exciting event.
"There will be more than 300 types of beer to sample this year," said Aiken.
At the event, all the participants receive a tasting glass and choose which beers they want to try.
Aiken said there will be dozens of North Carolina breweries participating, but some international brewers will be there as well.
The event also benefits the Animal Rescue and Foster Program.
The Summertime Brews Festival is Saturday, at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex from 4 to 8 p.m. for general admission.
You have to be 21 to participate. Also, make sure you have a designated driver or some alternative plan to get home.
You can buy tickets in advance for $35 or you can buy them at the door for $40 each.
