If you're counting down the days until you hit the road this July 4th holiday, you're not alone. Almost one million North Carolinians will be driving and we're here to make sure you stay safe. Officer Campbell with the Greensboro Police Department gave us some safety tips and told us which places to avoid.

Last year, there were a total of 61 crash reports with no repeat locations. New Garden Road had 12 citations and Wendover Ave had 9- in total, all interstates had 69. He also told us what to do in case you see a drunk driver. It's best to try to memorize their license plate and get a description of the person driving. Also, call 911 to report the drunk driver.
