Greensboro, NC -- If you golf, you know there's nothing like nailing that money shot. You can learn how to drive the ball or sink that putt every time on Saturday, June 29th. But this clinic is just for the ladies.
Tracey McCain talked with some of the members from the Rick Murphy Golf Academy and Practice Center with information on the women's golf clinic.
PGA Professional, Bo Watson showed the ladies some of the tips they'll learn at the clinic, while members Rhonda Sampson talked about why golf has become so important to women professionals.
"I was a secretary. Someone taught me how to play golf and it introduced me to so many people and opportunities and now I'm a manger," said Sampson.
Kathie Clark picked up the sport three months ago when she retired. Clark encouraged all women to sign up for the free golf group even if they've never played a round before.
The beginner's golf clinic starts at 9:00am, Saturday, June 29th at the Rick Murphy Golf Academy & Practice Center. It's located at 1317 Pleasant Ridge Road in Greensboro.
The Greensboro Women's Golf Group is free to join. The clinic on June 29th is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. You can learn more by visiting the group's meet-up page online or by emailing Rhonda Samspon at firstname.lastname@example.org.
