WFMY News 2 is partnering with the Civil Rights Center and Museum for an all day telethon on June 19th.  Funds raised will help support the Museum's new initiative, Building A Better America Through Core Democratic Values.  Join guests Rev. Jesse Jackson, Fantasia, Sandra Hughes and Lee Kinard.  You can call 336-274-9199 to pledge your support.  You can also call 1-800-748-7116.

The all-day telethon raises money to ensure that ALL students in our state get to experience the museum first hand.  The proceeds raised will pay for transportation, admission plus provide lesson plans approved by the Department of Public Instruction  for state schools.

And be sure to check out the International Civil Rights Center & Museum's website for more on formation on the initiative.
