This Saturday you can get a taste of cuisine from around the world at the Mosaic Festival in Downtown Greensboro. Today, we had a special treat by learning how to make food from Laos. It's a country tucked between Vietnam and Thailand.
Alina Vannavong made traditional Laos sticky rice, tomato sauce, and chicken laab. The flavors from Laos are spicy and pungent. Laos food has strongly influenced both Thai and Vietnamese food that you probably didn't realize you were eating Laos dishes in Thai restaurants.
