We can't do enough to honor our veterans and this competition coming up in a few weeks is the perfect way to celebrate their achievements and give them the respect they deserve.

The Valor Games are a friendly competition of adapted games allowing our wounded and handicapped vets the chance to shine.  the games took place in other cities in the US over the past few years but this is the first time they are in the southeast.

The event is May 21, 22, and 23 in the Triangle area.  The first day is at the Dean Dome in Chapel Hill, the second is in Cameron Indoor on the campus of Duke University and the last is at the N.C. State Fairgrounds in Raleigh.

Here is a link to their website if you need more information.

Organizers say who wins the games in secondary....its the emotional help of seeing people coming out to support hem that makes a difference so get out there!!
