Greensboro, NC - Three of the best high school bands are going toe to toe this weekend, not for bragging rights, but to give back to their music programs and to the community.

Dudley High School is hosting the 'Luv The Bands' Showcase on Saturday, April 13th at 4pm.  The marching band talked about the event Wednesday on the Good Morning Show.

"The purpose of the showcase is to raise funds in support of the Department of Bands in preparation for the upcoming school year, and also for the community outreach projects that the band completes each year," said Director of Bands, Ricardo Reid.

The community outreach consists of donating 25 boxes of food to single parent families for Thanksgiving and providing Christmas gifts to single parent families whose children may otherwise not recieve anything for Christmas.
