Greensboro, NC -- Spring is here, and it's time to start paying attention to your vegetable garden.

One of the easiest ways to germinate seeds is to use a technique called "Paper-towel Gardening."

It's a simple technique that allows you to plan the layout and spacing of your garden.

The process, which includes dropping seeds on a moist paper towel, folding half the paper over the seeds and putting it in a ziplock bag, allows you to create a greenhouse effect for your seeds before transferring them to soil.

Karen Neill from the Guilford County Cooperative Extension joined Faith Abubey and Ed Matthews on the Weekend Good Morning Show to explain the process.
