The Motorola Droid Xyboard Tablet is a winner. Pure and simple. In my totally unscientific review and comparison I found that this tablet keeps pace with the ipad like no other.
Here's my humble opinion. The model I reviewed was a 16 GB version with 4G. For those of you not in the tech world that means that it has 16GB of memory and can run off the cellular 4G network so you don't have to be around a WiFi connection to connect to the internet.
The Xyboard is lightning fast and has some pretty cool features. If you tend to "fat finger" everything on a touch screen this could be extremely helpful. Add to that a cool app called Sticky Note where you can save handwritten notes and you've got a tablet that rivals the almighty ipad.
The camera is a 5 megapixel camera which matches the clarity of the ipad as well.
The ipad with 16GB and cellular connectivity runs $629 while the Motorola Droid Xyboard is $529.
Bottom line: I think you get the same quality as an ipad but for $100 less.
