Greensboro Program Helps People Deal With The Pain Of Losing A Pet

Greensboro, N.C. -- They don't call them man's best friend for nothing!  Losing dog or any other pet can feel like just that--losing a friend. But many don't allow themselves to grieve when a pet dies because they feel silly of feel "it was just a pet" and shouldn't feel that way.  That is why Grief Recovery Programs in Greensboro offering a program to help people deal with the pain of losing a pet.

Dr. Sarah Fletcher, a Hospice veterinarian, and Ellie McFalls, MCHt (Hypnosis, EFT, and Grief Recovery Programs) stopped by the Weekend Edition of the Good Morning Show to talk about their special program. 

The Grief Recovery PET Loss Program is a three consecutive week program that starts the first Tuesday of each month.  The program will be offered at the Creative Center at 900 16th Street in Greensboro.  The Cost for all three weeks is $29.00. 

The program will help the griever move on from using this circumstance to identify them and give them tools to help them cope.
