All week on The Good Morning Show we're showing you how to cook a new dish from a different country. To kick things off we're starting with the best style of BBQ- Carolina style!
Chef John Bobby from Noble's Grill in Winston-Salem shows us how to make the Lexington-style rub and sauce. Also, Sophia Grice from "No Barriers, No Walls" talks about the importance of having different cultures in the Triad.

Lexington Style BBQ Prep
10 lbs Pork Shoulder
8oz BBQ Spice
Rub pork shoulder, let rest overnight in refrigerator. Put in smoker for about 6 hours, about 215-225 degrees, will fall off bone when done. Chop and serve with your favorite sauce
Lexington BBQ Sauce
5 qt Cider Vinegar (White House)
1 gallon Apple Cider
2 ½ qt Catsup
4 oz Red pepper flakes
3 cups brown sugar
6 qt water
6 oz. coarse ground black pepper
1tbsp garlic powder
Simmer until thickens slightly
