The Winston-Salem State Rams are one win away from becoming the first historically black college or university to win a Division II Football Championship.
The Rams leave Wednesday night for Florence, Alabama where the National Championship Game will be played on Saturday.
This will be the first trip to the national championship game for the Rams, and the one constant for all Rams is they believe they can and will win.
Running back Bryce Sherman told News 2, "We all believe. We gotta play hard, but we are ready."
Coach Connell Maynor agreed in the we believe slogan, saying, "This is what they've been working for so they are not going to be nervous or afraid. This is what they planned on, this is what they have been working on, this is what they believe."
The game is at 1:00 pm on Saturday.
