Busta Brown is known for highlighting the talents and volunteer work of Triad teenagers. This week he shared the story of a local woman who's helping homeless people in the community dress to impress.
Weomie Beale is Busta's Buddy, and what he would call a "comeback kid." She went from being a homeless mother herself living in a shelter, to opening a store where every item is one dollar. It's called We's Dollar Clothing Store on S. Marshall St. in Winston-Salem.
Beale's been in business for ten years, collecting donated clothing from the community. In that time she said she's never run out of clothing to fill her store shelves.
Busta Brown took a tour around her store. Watch it in the attached video.
