'Zero Dark Thirty' Moved Into The Number One Spot

Los Angeles, CA -- A lot of people checked out movies nominated for Oscars over the weekend. Best picture nominee "Zero Dark Thirty" moved into the top spot at the box office in its first weekend in wide release. It made $24 million. Two other best picture nominees, "Lincoln" and "Silver Linings Playbook" saw a big increase in ticket sales, too. "A Haunted House" opened in second place with nearly $19 million. "Gangster Squad" opened in third with nearly $17 million. "Django Unchained" and "Les Miz" round out the top five.
