Los Angeles, CA -- In another bid to get young people to watch the Academy Awards, college students are being offered the chance to take part in the Oscars this February.
Seth MacFarlane has announced a contest that would let at least six students who are interested in a career in film appear on the Oscars and hand awards to the presenters, who'd then give them to the winners. It's a job usually done by models.
If you want to apply, submit a video to the movie academy's Facebook page describing how you'd contribute to the future of film. The contest runs through January 19. It's sponsored by MTV and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
