New York, NY -- Eleven-for-eleven. That would be a great number for a pro football place kicker or an NBA star shooting free-throws. But not so much for the video game industry. A research firm says US retail sales of new video game hardware, software and accessories have now fallen for an 11th straight month. NPD Group says sales of video game systems, games and accessories were off 25 percent last month, compared to last year's numbers. The only category to show an increase from year-ago tallies were sales of accessories -- which were up 5 percent.
