Greensboro, NC-- Some students at one Triad school have spent the week read, reading and reading.
That's because it was Summer Reading Camp week at Washington Montessori School in Greensboro.
Volunteers also pitched in this week helping the students work on several things.
Sharon Jacobs, Principal said the goal was to use multiple strategies and small group setting to increase students' reading proficiency, confidence and reading comprehension skills.
And work doesn't stop because camp ends, students are given activities they have to complete during the summer.
Washington Montessori is an extended year school in Guilford County.
