Burlington, NC-- It's not everyday you see high school students break out into song while serving lunch at a community kitchen.
Saturday, patrons who were mostly homeless, at the Caring Kitchen were treated to an Acapella choral group from Burlington's Williams High School.
The Caring Kitchen is also located in Burlington.
More than a dozen students prepared food, served and cleaned up the kitchen.
The group are helping an organization dedicated to making change through music. They have a Sing for Change Pops Concert scheduled for next week. People attending can also bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the Caring Kitchen.
Proceeds from the concert will be donated to "Playing for Change."
The Sing for Change Pops Concert is: May, 17 at 7:00pm at Williams High School Auditorium. The school is located on S. Church St in Burlington.
