Kernersville, NC --  Maggie Weldon has turned her creativity into a successful career.  Weldon is the owner of Maggie's Crochet.  Many of her designs are on display at her studio in Kernersville.

"I have over 1,000 designs right now that I've created over the years.  A lot of afghans but I've created everything from doilies, fashions and I love vintage things," explains Weldon.

Weldon has also designed scarves, stuffed animals, holiday decor and clothes for dolls.  She doesn't sell the finished product.  Instead, she sells the patterns and crafters make it.

Maggie has a staff of seven to maintain and grow the business and the website www.maggiescrochet.com.  Her customers can be found across the globe including including Australia, South Africa and Brazil.

She doesn't just sell her designs.  She also explains how to make them with her 500 how-to videos on YouTube.

"By watching those videos that are specifically for that pattern or a general video, they can do things they couldn't do before. That's what you want,  to create success for your customers," said Weldon.

Maggie has been crocheting for decades. With her designs and online help, she's making sure crocheters around the world are able create masterpieces, one stitch at a time.

Weldon said, "The comments are so rewarding. They're like finally, I got it! I love it, thank you! Thanks. So that's rewarding for that to happen."

Maggie creates crochet patterns for all skill levels.  For more infomation, visit her website www.maggiescrochet.com
