Elon, NC --  A former middle school teacher has taken her creative abilities to hand craft adorable comfort wraps.  Holly Barrett began making scented wraps to earn extra cash for her family in 2011 but it has turned into a full fledged company called Warm Wishes.

The handmade scented wraps can be heated in the microwave or chilled in the freezer.  They can be used to help ease pain and soothe sore muscles.

Barrett said, "Making something that makes people feel better, I love it!  A lot of people use them for comfort to distress. Others use them for actual aches and pains."

The wraps come in a variety of scents like lemon lavender, lavender vanilla and apple cinnamon.

She received orders from all over the country as well as overseas.  Her relaxation wraps were also featured in Our State magazine.

"It's a creative outlet for me.  I love picking out fabrics, ribbons, and find amazing scents.  It's been alot of fun," explains Barrett.

You can find Warm Wishes Comfort Wraps in local shops including Splurges Boutique and Me & E Gifts in Greensboro.
