Associate Producer Ashley Bono is....not a cook. But you don't have to be with her recipe for "Cherry Cheese Pie." This fool-proof recipe is going to get you compliments from your guests, family, or special someone.
It tastes like it takes hours of prep and your loved ones never have to know that it only take about 5 minutes!
All you need is:
1 package (or 8 oz) of cream cheese
1 can (or 14 ounces) of condensed milk
1/4 cup of lemon juice
Tablespoon vanilla extract
1 can (or 21 ounces) of pie cherries.
One pie crust (works with all kinds!)
Start by putting the cream cheese and condensed milk into a mixing bowl. Then use a mixer to blend the two together until its smooth (as few lumps as possible). Then add in the lemon juice and vanilla extract and mix again. Then pour the mixture into your pie crust.
Let sit in the refridgerator for a few hours and go relax for a while! You've had a long day (invloving pie making) and you deserve a rest! Ashley likes to let the pie sit over night, but a few hours in the fridge will do. After a few hours, pour the cherries on top and leave for another hour or so. Then, serve and enjoy!!!
