Anchor Frank Mickens Shares The Recipe For Key Lime Pie

Greensboro, NC -- It's dessert week on the Good Morning Show! News 2's Frank Mickens and his wife Chasattee whipped up their favorite Key Lime Pie recipe!

Key Lime Pie

5 egg yolks (used from large eggs)
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup lime juice
1 - 1/2 tsp lime zest
6oz prepared graham crust
Optional: whip cream for topping

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Combine egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk just until blended. Whisk/stir in heavy whipping cream, lime juice, and lime zest. Pour into prepared graham crust.

Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 mins or until center is just set.

Cool and then refrigerate/freeze. If freezing, allow to thaw 5 minutes or more before serving. Delicious alone and with whip cream on top.
